Plasma Comparison - Panasonic Pv70 Vs Hitachi 9500ta

dear all,

i am torn between these two 42 inch plasma - panasonic pv70 and hitachi 9500TA

i like the bezel of the hitachi but i have read that someone had some problems with theirs - shaking picture or something like that. the hitachi is made in japan, the pv70 made in singapore. i have look at them side by side. they look almost the same but i give the pv70 a better rating in terms of PQ. sound i havent compare.

i am sure some of you have cross this road before and can offer me your opinion and suggestions. thank you all in advance

I have been using Hitachi 9500 for almost 2 years..... no problem at all! Picture is superb!

Actually both are good and leading brand, that time i choosed Hitachi over Panasonic is because the design of Hitachi look nicer (sleeker)... and also coz it is made in Japan with 3 years warranty (that time Panasonic only give 1 year warranty)

thanks alex, i also like the sleeker design of the hitachi better. how about pic wise and sound? did you compare side by side before buying?

i never compared side by side..... can't find any shop to have these 2 brands displayed side by side

but i had seen both in different ocassion.... no one can give perfect judgement lah anyway, just go ahead with your own eyes and ear
