How Is The Laminated Skirting Being Change

Recommended Posts

My laminated skirting (at the door area) has a long scratch, thinking of changing it but worry about how they do about it. So far, the longer they stay in my house, the more damage are done. *Shake head*

Also, if there are scratches on homo tiles, is it possible to remove?

What is your worry on changing the skirting? Afraid they will scratch the floor? I think definitely will one lor, unless they are very very careful.

The skirting is mounted with glue and small nails, so they have to ply it out and possibly damage a little paintwork also.

But the worst of all, which is quite unavoidable, is that the colour of the new skirting will definitely not match the rest because of normal wear.

Not parquet floor, laminated floor and it's on the skirting (kerb) at the door.

I will need to check with my id. Hope and pray that he is able to do this small task without any more headache for me.

Skirting sit directly on floor and bonded to wall side. Usually, there is no problem removing and replacing it. Just need a little care and protection on the affected area to prevent tools or hard material from scatching the floor. Your ID should be able to help since it is still new
