My Cosy Hideout

Recommended Posts

L-box is just around the corners of the ceiling where as False ceiling is for the entire ceiling and you will feel less height. L-box is usually cheaper to do as less materials used. False ceiling uses metal suspension to hold together the plaster boards.

Here are some pics for you to visualised.

False-ceiling materials:

what is the difference between L-Box and False Ceiling? For MBR, do we do a L-Box or False Ceiling? :)

Can be both and depends on the buget and design. With False ceiling you can eliminate the wire casing running thru the middle of the ceiling and you can have placement of many downlights any position you want to create the mood & effects of the lights throw onto your bed for example.

oh icic. then MBR normally ppl do l-box or false ceiling?

finally got my keys last friday, it was suppose to be a very exciting thing.

Untill the fengshui master went to our place and told us that we should avoid using white/back /grey/blue colors for our new flat...that's when the problem arise.

We should use more red/pink/green/purplue/brown/orange ...haiya...that's the difficult part as i am very bad at matching colors :dancingqueen:

went to a couple of the lighting shops in balestier yesterday, was quite please with one shop untill my contractor told me that balestier got alot of chong stuffs. is that true?

if you have any lighting shop which is reliable...pls recommend to me.

aiyo instead of enjoying the whole process...i am totally stress out... sigh

Hi FIRE

Can recommend your fsm to me?

Btw, will fsm ask you to hack this and hack that, move door here and there?

Cos' I dont want to have this.

Just simple kitchen cabinet layout, sleeping position, colours, caiwei...

Best regards.

HAPPY

Sure i will PM you his number if you are interested.

For our case, he did not ask us to hack or relocate any door, only advise us on the kitchen clayout, sleeping position, colours, caiwei....if you have any additional questions which you like to know you can also ask him

in case you need to hack any wall or relocate the door...u can always ask him... :dancingqueen:
