Internal PVC for cabinet (scratch / dents)

Dear all

I examined the carpentry work and found there are some dents / scratches within the internal coloured PVC of the carpentry.

My ID told me that these are expected as the internal PVC is very soft. Such scratches / dents are not considered as defects. So they will not be rectifed.

Just like to know if my ID is tell me the correct thing. If someone could share their experiences, I would be most appreciative. Thanks,
