but the one which you shortlisted seem to be off the HDB's list.

I've checked the licence personally and licence was shown in his name. For all you know, he own's 2 company which 1 is sole proprietor. You can always call up to find out more if you are keen in his service. I think there are more ID here goes without Licence, only claim associate or sister company, don't you think this is misleading. Everyone does things with a reason, confront him if you have doubt but not badmouthing here

Anyone hear of this company before? I got a few quotes from ID firm to contractors which took up quite alot of time browsing the contracts. I was recommended by few of my friends which all their house were done up by De Palmco Pte Ltd. The company seems to be on a silent side for their marketing but business seems good. Last that I knew the company was the boss himself manages all projects by himself including Design and planning, everyday site visit etc. All my friend said that he is very helpful and on the ball and keep his promises, very prompt to delivery. I was brought to view few of his work done and in progress from HDB to landed property. He even told me bring me to view tiles and toilet accessories and told me no obligation; seems very sincere. Quite pro with his work as he can pin point exactly how to work things, and all the technical aspect with pros and cons. Amongst all quotes I've seen, I think I'm quite comfortable with him especially all my friends claims the company is very good not only in workmanship, delivery but also price are reasonable and all the work is done in-house; ie the company has his own tile laying man, carpenter, electrician, plumber, air con, painter etc, practically they don't sub out any work to others - would you believe it? I see it with my own eyes when visiting the sites. Anyone know any company who has the same capability that is comparable to this? Please PM me for more info before I make my decision. Thank you

I'm asking for feedback just like any others here if there are people used them before. I need to confirm the remarks if it is true rather than hearing from friends only. Is this wrong? If you are not keen to give your opinion, you don't have to mislead other forumers here. It is the free will for forumers to check themselves but I do not see any content of advertisement in this instant.

Last I knew they have did quite a number of landed property which I understand most ID would not know the requirement from BCA. If you are here to contribute your experience and share your opinion we do appreciate but to create a shady picture to others is unfair and should be prohibited. What about all these below post by vinlee clearly, directly and openly posted the name, company and even request forumers to PM he/she for info....when he/she do not allow me to talk about my contractor. In particularly following through my posting and only pin point to few that he/she claim I'm contractor. Nothing mentioned about other posting. Vinlee registered in sep 05 having only 164 and of which more than 20 posting talking about my posting. I really don't understand the intention. Vinlee did pretty detail search and concern on all my posting....wonder if he/she really "fall in love" to that. For 2 years as passive members and suddenly so active about my posting......? Be it I'm or I'm not a contractor, this is a place for forumer to share opinion, experience and information but not personal attack to my posting ever since my first posting, isn't this shady and suspicious? Why didn't he/she make comment about my posting to technical information? Or perhap didn't want me to crack his/her lobang too much as he/she is a id/contractor....

This is not a place to do such arguement or challenge but to share info, opinion and experience. I did as far as I know unlike vinlee no contribution but finding fault. There is no need for me in the "proper channel" as I am only contributing to the know-how and know what here; no need for the purpose as I can't claim myself as specialise in the trade neither am I in the trade. All my posting is my personal view and may or not agreed by others. Any recommendation will be in PM and for each individual to decide. I gain nothing to contribute here, but again I lose nothing not to contribute too. If Vinlee don't like the posting just make yourself scarce but not to make a nuisance in here. Let me remind Vinlee the story about the boss of human parts, nobody believe an "********" can be the boss, but when the "********" shut the mouth, the whole body collapse. Those who keen in the service will know check the Licence. Again, I stress again that I've check and confirmed. I said earlier that he had 2 companies and director of both. I don't have to prove to you further cos you don't need it. People whom want to engage the service can always check the companies in person. For your info, the other company is Palmco Services which my work permit clearly shown. Why not you check and post the full details of both companies here since you are so "hardworking"

Same goes to your past posting though you are lazy to narrate. Many forumers here also put in good words about their contractors, so do you mean they are advertising here? The worst is that you have even post openly the ID company name, the ID's name here and ask forumers to PM you for contacts... What have you got to say about this?

Neither am I will take to heart. You are right that I'm coming by a regular basis as I found this forum interesting and had shared many of my know-how and know-what and listen to others. Unlike you contributed none but finding unnecessary fault here. Isn't this a nuisance?

You seems extremely focus on the time and thing of what I did? I will not recommend contractor openly like you. I only PM forumer for particular area, unless they request, I have never tell them to use my contractor, indeed told them to source for more. I have made many comments on different people who came in here and try to hard-sell their services.

Hi all, please cool down a bit.

Although we do have a problem of IDs pretending to be home-owners, we sometimes also go a little overboard when weeding out these undesirables.
