I must do justice to Mr Lim and write this up - no matter how busy I am.

He has done a fantastic and quick job in getting us to a brand new home.

My nightmare began when i sold my home before i bought this current new place - hdb masionette.

We were frantically looking for a new place for the family to stay. We finally got it.

however, we were not allowed to do much or rather nothing before the keys are officially handed over to us. We were left with 3 weeks and i am not exaggerating - 3weeks to complete the renovation.

Prior to that, Mr Lim was given one quick tour of the place to note down those things we need to do - that's all.

Before we have the keys, we planned and finalized the quotation. These were the things we had to do

Master toilet overhaul

Common toilet overhaul

New toilet for lower masionette

Dining/Living floor hack + new tiles

Plaster ceilings for dining n living

Plaster wall whole house ( it was originally with the sprayed rockstone which made the place looked so small)

Make 1 new room - hack and build wall

Hack and tile whole kitchen

Windows

Piping - for whole house

Paint

Teak wood in all rooms

balcony roof and chengai wood

New cabinets for rooms, kitchen

Lightings for the whole house

AND He did all these in 3 weeks and with good quality. It is true that he takes a lot of pride in his work.

He does not do design but i don't mind coz my style is simple and i want my place to look just spacious and clean. No fanciful latest design that might fade out.

I have to say that his workers all have superb attitudes. They worked very hard and cheerful.

Now, that i have moved in and paid him ... my husband had to admit that he paid him happily coz we moved in (3 weeks) + Mr Lim did extra things like hanging up our LCD and projectors (that alone took the whole afternoon), etc.

Is Mr Lim a contractor, he since to do it quite fast within 3 wks. Feel happy for u since ur reno progress smoothly.
