Guest zackling Report post Posted August 22, 2007 (edited) Kronotex products are direct from Germany & 90% of Supreme products are from Malaysia, the rest are import from China & Germany. Installers (people who supply & lay the floorings) are local.kronotex also got another range that's made from China (for those budget constraint). Its known as KLF. So, must be extra careful that your ID/contractor dun short change u on that. There are some ID/contractor out there who substitute the suppored made in Germany Kronotex with those made in China. Just ensure that u choose those made in Germany range, pay the $ for it and dun get those cheaper range from China. Edited August 22, 2007 by hello88

Momoboy 1 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Hi, anyone did the laminated flooring on their whole house using Kronotex? Malui 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Dear All :Any idea what is the Difference for the Above Laminates ? Offer either KRONOTEX ( 8mm) from Germany or Supreme Laminates for our New 5 Room Flats?Really confused .... any Feedback or Suggestions which to take ??pls kindly advise... I am renovating my house soon and has engaged Supreme to do my 3 bedroom laminates. Not sure how the workmanship will be but from the response I receive last time, it seems that they are ok. Btw, before I agree to se Supreme, I did ask on their product quality which is mostly from Malaysia as compared to others from Germany. According to them, our climate is similar to M'sia and the tree they used in M'sia should be able to withstand the weather condition here (i mean the humidity). This means that it is more durable than using those from Germany which has different weather condition than ours. I was convinced by their explaination and thus, have decided to hire them for service. Once I have done up my bedroom, will tel u more about them.

babyQ 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2007 Hi, anyone did the laminated flooring on their whole house using Kronotex? I am interested but not sure whether the feel will be good and whether is it lasting? Btw, how can we neg on the price? or their is a fixed price?my reno is almost done, i did laminated flooring for whole house but not using Kronotex. i read a lot of of the old threads on renotalk.com on laminate flooring and one forummer posted pix of his warped floor which was less than a year old. i quickly cancelled out the brand i had in mind originally! did some hunting around and decided on Alsafloor. it's made in France. we liked the colour and feel and also the price was competitive. every flooring contractor will tell you their floor can last. but most of us here have not used the floor long enough to share! but i do know this floor can "move house" with us next time if we ever decide to move!here are two pix to share:whole house in Natural Maplethe curved platform in Wengenot sure if i post the url link here?http://www.alsafloor.com/1us/index.php?pg=22&Detail=42hope that helps! Thanks a lot. thank you phoenix! i my flooring! we paid $6K for it from Bilrich. it will be much less, around $4K if you don't do any platforms. i got two platforms - the one u see in the balcony and one more in the master bedroom. my friend chose the same flooring and it cost her $2K for her 3-room flat. really like the practicality of it and it's very child-friendly - won't hurt when they fall and great for babies learning to crawl. it comes with 25 years warranty.
