I guess nowadays, durability is not in the manufacturer's mine...... I changed my home aircon just after 8 years..... Guess what the contractor told me??

" 8 years is consider good nowadays. Don't expect like those old solid aircon that last 15 years and beyond. With competition and cost cutting plus high cost in doing business, they will die if everybody don't change air con after first installation."
