We are interested in staying somewhere mid way (we like on the west coast) and we see towns along the way but aren’t sure about traffic and hotel options along way. We want to break up the trip. When my sister and I chose to visit some states, we considered hiring a car. However, staying in hotels was expensive because we wanted to pay for the trip ourselves.
