zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted July 30, 2007 Can't remember much but nothing seemed to stand out very much, except this:"5 To install new tempered glass frameless shower screen $ 580.00"Is your shower area exceptionally big?? If not, this is too high. Standard shower screen is about $320 to $380.

Heard from my friend that they have a material like plastic but looks like glass..wat is it called? Can't remember much but nothing seemed to stand out very much, except this:"5 To install new tempered glass frameless shower screen $ 580.00"Is your shower area exceptionally big?? Do they provide installation too? will my exsiting tiles get affected by the installation since they have to construct a curb for the screen right? Will it be cheaper this way? Two that I can think of are Besglass and Aust Screen. Alternatively, google for 'glass-maker' and you can find more.Depending on the layout of your bathroom, may not need to construct a kerb lor. The silicon at the bottom of the glass holder should be good enough to keep the water out, I think, cuz I saw some of my friends' flats also just mount the glass holder on the tiles.
