Hv you found your ID or contractor?

If not, I can recommend you mine... he finished my reno in slightly under 4 weeks.

Whatever he promised, he delivered.... :)

Hey eric...thanks..

I managed to upload the pics here...

About the pillar, I am thinking of having the beam straight too.

As for the adjoining rooms, I am thinking of having a glass partition that will separate the master bedroom and bedroom 2. Initially, we thought of putting the wall back but shrug off the idea after looking at the teeny weeny master bedroom. So an ID actually suggested that putting a glass partition instead of the wall.

We should be going for contractor as we have this feeling that IDs can be a tad too pricey for us.

Jamez agreed! Tesoro, maybe you want to consider painting over some of the cabinets to change the colour or laminate them or something? coz they look like good solid wood to me... just a thought... :dunno:

Hi Jamez

For the master bedroom and adjoning bedroom 2, everything will go.

As for the bomb shelter, the contractor told us to change the doors to something simple. As for the false wall in the living room, he said he can do something to it.

For the toilets, we are going to overlay the floor tiles but not the wall tiles.

The contractor told us that wall tiles not easy to overlay...coz it's glossy and not matt and the "glue" might not stick..aiyo..all these reno mambo-jumbo is giving me a headache.

Is there anyone who has a good contractor to recommend?

Can send it to my email : resso99@gmail.com

Btw, can someone pls explain to me what does "Approved contractors" mean for RHB reno loan? Do we have to ask every contractor that comes along whether they are the "approved contractor"?
