I intend to have a 5ft bar counter in my living room? But i just wondering how should i do with the lighting? Any comments?

One way of lighting up is to, built your bar counter in glass and backlight. You need a good designer or an examlpe of such a counter to show to your contractor. You should not be shining the light on to your counter but the counter itself should be alight source.
