Old Air-con

hello,

any idea what is the practise in the market for the old air-con?

The newly bought HDB flat has a sys2 in 2 of the bedrooms. Thus,

i'm looking to purchase a sys3 so that my living room has enjoyed

the cool air too.

But do i bargain with air-con seller to take in my old but still working

air-con and try to offset the cost? or should i sell off the old air separately

and then purchase sys3 on its' own?

any thoughts? Thanks!

actually to the GC dealer i spoke to them, they mention they will dismantle for u the old aircon but they will not charge u as they will take it as a trade in to offset the dismantle charges.

Most don't take your old model, they'll dismantle for free and up to you to dispose or they'll dispose for you.

As Genesis says ... nobody wants old aircon, cos they must get people to install them.

Trade in for yr new ones ( rebate ) . Most dealers re export old ones to undevelop countries.
