Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

actually it's not that expensive lah

and it's supposed to be anti-bacterial, coz of the 'microban' that's 'infused' into the board material

by right, bacteria will be repelled from the board, making food preparation more hygenic

and it's more hardy so won't of knife marks so easily :yamseng:

ya.. n best ting i like.. is the 2 soft rubber ends.. it won't get moldy like the wooden chopping board that i used to have.. now no need to find place to hang it to dry.. jus place it on the dish drainer will do.. dry faster than wooden board as well.. cos no "absorption" mah.. n the other plus point is that.. when i slice ginger or dice garlic.. the wooden board would sort of "saw off" n lots of tiny wood grains came out n easily mix with my finely chopped garlic which is super hard to separate them out..

er... good things do not come cheap.. cheap things usually not as good.. but depend wat expectation u're looking at..

best deal for good stuffs would b the robinson's sales loh.. haha.. if not.. OG sales?

personally.. for knife.. i'd love to use twineh2.jpg the premium brand but due to budget i hv.. i can only afford to use singlenp9.jpg the value brand.. price abt double as wat the logo may "suggest".. haha.. nway.. i'm already pretty happy with the value brand.. got it frm OG sales.. forgot how much le.. but def below $100 for a set (with the stand).. it is already very sharp le.. read more frm their site bah.. http://www.jahenckels.com/

for others like fork n spoon.. i dun hv much 研究.. cos hv too much "stock" at home.. got them frm my aunt who used to buy too much sets n no where to store so ended up with our home now.. haha.. free silver n stainless steel wares.. :D

hahahahaa.. yea.. ikea is the next best place to buy cheap n good design ones.. but material wise.... depend on wat tings u get... hehee..

jub25.. i got tat at $28+ frm robinsons.. n i'm still waiting for the 5% rebate to my total robinsons cc bill.. so best deal would still b getting frm robinsons! haha.. but since now the chance already over.. tink $32 shld b the next best deal bah.. hehe..

I strongly agreed on the premium brand knife, cos last x'mas while we were having party I took out my NTUC knife to slay off the turkey and we found it veri hard to cut then my frien took out his "TWO ppl" knife and it slay so smooth jus like cutting Toufu. :bangwall::bangwall:

And now my NTUC knife got rusty :furious: but I am wondering how come s/s knife still can get rusty? :dunno:

Think the one xlan got is the bigger one, @ 46.90, the smaller was retailing at 39.90 at Robinsons too. During members sale was 10 + 20
