prodigic 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 I dun cook. Wats the difference between this "super-expensive-everyone-complain" chopping block and the normal plastic/wood chopping block? Hmmm.. if u gals dun mind explaining to me..
applefreak 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 (edited) actually it's not that expensive lah and it's supposed to be anti-bacterial, coz of the 'microban' that's 'infused' into the board material by right, bacteria will be repelled from the board, making food preparation more hygenic and it's more hardy so won't of knife marks so easily Edited May 4, 2008 by applefreak

xlan 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2008 ya.. n best ting i like.. is the 2 soft rubber ends.. it won't get moldy like the wooden chopping board that i used to have.. now no need to find place to hang it to dry.. jus place it on the dish drainer will do.. dry faster than wooden board as well.. cos no "absorption" mah.. n the other plus point is that.. when i slice ginger or dice garlic.. the wooden board would sort of "saw off" n lots of tiny wood grains came out n easily mix with my finely chopped garlic which is super hard to separate them out..
