Advise On Dates And Flr Plan

Hi Mr Chong,

Sorry I have so many questions. Knw you very busy. If you don’t have the time, mind if at least let me knw the dates for Question 1 first. Thks in advance!

1. Im having a headache selecting reno and move-in dates bcos of tight deadline wana move in before 7th month and end of our tenancy period, but in between got a lot of inauspicious dates.

Could you pls advise whether the following dates for commencement of reno and move-in are suitable for my hubby and I? If not suitable, can pls advise what other dates are suitable from 30 July to 12 Aug 2007?

- commence reno on 31 July 2007 (target to complete on 8 Aug 2007)

- move-in on 8 Aug 2007 (if reno manage to complete on this date) or 12 Aug 2007 (latest date to move-in by 12 Aug cos last day of tenancy period)

I checked the dates using a website, not sure how accurate is it. Seems the above dates are ok for my hubby and I, could you pls reconfirm? But for 12 Aug 2007-the Chinese calendar indicates it’s a bad day…it says don’t do important task…so can we still move in on that day since it contradicts the website results?

I understand 30 July 2007 is not a good date for us to commence reno...can you pls confirm? If it's a good day, then we like to commence reno on this date.

What time would you suggest to commence reno and move-in (for both 8 and 12 Aug or other dates you recommend)?

If we din manage to move-in on 8 Aug 2007, we’ll only move-in and stay in the new hse on 12 Aug 2007. In between, from 9 to 11 Aug 2007 I understand these dates are not auspicious for both of us, we intend to paint the house and have delivery of furniture (including new mattress, not using bedframe)…is this ok?

2. Could you pls advise on the general fs of our flat and what we need to do/avoid? It’s located on the 3rd floor.

3. Could you pls advise the wall colour options for:

a. Living area (parquet floor)

b. Dining area next to bomb shelter (ceramic tiles flooring)

c. Master Bedroom (parquet floor)

d. Bedroom 3 (parquet floor)

e. Bedroom 2 (parquet floor)

4. We bought dark and light brown coloured sofa for living area and tempered glass dining table with metallic stand for dining area, is it ok? If not ok, is there any remedy?

5. Bedroom 3 and Bedroom 2-thought of using Bedroom 3 for study/guest room and Bedroom 2 for our son's room-is this ok?

Been thinking whether I should change the normal height round tempered glass dining table with metallic stand to a low round wooden table with low stools for dining...sth like japanese style got low table, except that it comes with low stools

is it ok to have low dining table?
