autumnzy 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2007 ok... actually I also don't understand the term & condition for the extened warranties.... some company pay 80% for the 1st year... 60% for the 2nd year.... some said 100% thought out the warranty...btw... HN only charge $32 for 2 years...$55 for 5 years.. felt like being cheated by CXXXXX...That's why I trusted HN more. Maybe bcos I have relative working in there before... But also gotta depand on which outlet.Basically, for what I know. It's one-for-one exchange when cannot repair. Anyway... he said they would send some token ... let's see what's that...seems like giving candy to fill your mouth wor... Dun scare me leh...i still thinking to buy micowave-oven from them. But if cash-n-carry, i can just open the box n check, should not have any problem right ? So, not advisable to take the extend warranty ?refurbish n sell as new? can do that meh, n CASE allow?Personally, i think small items that u cash&carry it's ok... Just dun buy those big items that people tend to buy through installment lor.. Like TV or fridge.. smthg along that line...NATO lor - no action talk only learn smthg new today...NATO-no action talk only

sepultura 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2007 Don't waste your time with CASE unless you are sure you want to go to the small claims tribunal. CASE itself is quite useless from my experience with them, but it is a necessary step before you file a claim at small claims - they required proof from me that I had attempted to settle the dispute with the vendor/shop before I file a claim. As for Cxxxxs, I never shop there, ever. Their prices are ridiculous. Just last week I was looking around for a 37" TV, saw the LG LC7 series priced at 2399 at HN, and 2499 at best, but the same thing was 3099 at Cxxxxs. What the (#*&$*(& ?!?!
