Recommended Posts

Hi All, :dancingqueen:

I'm now considering the following models-

Panasonic TH-37PV70 (37"Plasma)

LG 37LC7R (37" LCD)

Did anyone of you had used the above models in your house?

Hi Titank,

hows ur decision? We are also considering something similar but not sure if between Panasonic or LG and Plasma or LCD?

Some say Korea stuff consume more electricity and some says Plasma screen is reflective and the technology will die max after 8 yrs. So not sure which we want to invest in.

you cant compare a jap product with a korea product.

Ordered the Panasonic 42" model 2 months ago for my new place but changed it to Pionner recently before delivery. Personally, placed side by side, Pioneer pictures is better than Panasonic. Asthetic wise, Pionner looks better also.

I've had good experiences with LG, so I got the hard panel 37" LC7 model this time.

I don't like plasma because of the reflective screen, it gets hotter than LCD, consumes more power, and weighs more. I simply cant use it because it will reflect too much window light where I put it in the living room.

personally i prefer plasma cos screen bigger... higher contrast & zero response rate... LCD screens make me giddy easily...

LG LCD TVs look good... we nearly got those before MIL sponsored our TV :D
