minfaith 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2007 (edited) 901 is erratic.. if u take the bus after 7.55am, the bus takes longer to arrive abt 8-14mins and you'll end up taking the more crowded train. good new is, alot of pple alight @ woodlands mrt on the later train, abt 8.20, cos the republic poly students all reach ard that time!the place still quite dusty. maybe cos the other side neighbours are renovating. but we're not in most of the time, so not noisy for us. however, the people walking around in the void deck are very loud! can hear them talking. other then that.. vista point is like an oasis in ulu woodlands! lol everything they have!as for unpacking.. not yet. waiting for my carpentry and painting to complete this weekend, then clean up 1 last time, then can start unpacking liao. ps. get a clock! very impt! esp in the mornings.. in order to not be late! ahahaha!@minfaith, the vacuum other than noisy, anything else she complained about?as far as i remember...not much complaints other than noisy for the vucuum..fren did mention in fact it's quite clean.. haha..ya mus get clock...F/MIL said mus get coz nobody will gives us clock one lo...no good... my carpentry almost done!!...came in on wed..fri shld be all done up.. now left only touch up the paintings + last round of lights/bathrm accessories installationyes yes... ...so excited leh... gingar..ur blk is the childcare blk? tt's y so noisy? smoochies..no choice..we mus try b understanding..we also bing bong biang when we were renovating mah...hahaha... And yes.. the place is super windy.. i went there lotsa time.. and actually went into a few neighbours' house and see their reno b4. Collected my keys abt 2mths ago but still haben start my reno. gingar 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Hi hi! welcome to the neighbourhood, renogirl!nothing much to update, been busy painting the house.. room by room.. its been 1.5 mths? i dunno. hahah! painting an ea is no easy task! no wonder the pros asked for 1.5k to paint.. lolanyhoo.. here's a pix of my living room. just put up the balcony panels today. ps the wall is super hard to drill!went to get the carpet yesterday.. after scouring arab street and furniture mall, finally ended up at Tagore Lane's carpet & furnishing. reasonably priced, wider selection, less pushy salespeople.
