alannn 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Dear all, recently realised my water heater have some minor leak dripping down for where it was indicated in the picture. When open up the plastic cover, realised there i some water droplet around it and dont find any crack or anything leaking around the area. Someone told me its just some condensation, but i wanna more opinions here. it is a cause for concern at all? I believe the heater is less than 10 years old. Other than the water leak, everything else is fine, good water flow, hot water constantly. Any expert or home owner here with the same exeprience can give some comments? Thank in advance Edited March 14, 2021 by alannn
TedDibiase 216 Report post Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Is the leak continuous? If its continuous then its leak, else its condensation Clean the area with a dry tissue and if a droplet appears again within 15 mins, then there is a leak somewhere Edited March 15, 2021 by TedDibiase
