TYM 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 Hi Mr Chong,Would like to check is it ok to place the hob at or near the location mark "A"?At "A", there are 2 outlet pipes which my ID told me is for the kitchen sink and WM.Was advised that it is not appropriate to place the hob at or near location "A" as hob symbolise wealth and placing it at "A" would be like "money going down the drain". Doesn't really matter as compared to the location of your hob. You need to put up your floor plan and compass direction if you have not. Otherwise remind me pls. Just make sure your in/out water point is not beside generally.
TYM 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 Hi Mr Chong, I have indicated the compass direction in the kitchen floorplan as above. Anyway, attached the floorplan of my whole house with compass directionHelloI assume you mean the drainage hole there? Doesn't really matter as compared to the location of your hob. Pardon me but what do you mean by "Just make sure your in/out water point is not beside generally"?

Pardon me but what do you mean by "Just make sure your in/out water point is not beside generally"?Hello TYMCompass direction means using a compass and take the degrees. The instructions are already pinned up at the top of the threads. If you're still concern, tape over it will do. Of course you do make sure it doesn't smell, otherwise it will be unhealthy to place hob there. Usually due to space constraint, such make over will do. Don't need to be that particular. The effects are negligible at this instance."In/Out" water is another phrase for basin point. People usually avoid putting the water basin and the hob together. Very valid reason applicable in FS is having a clash of elements there.
