Renovation Contractors, Not Id

Recommended Posts

This thread is so popular.. there should be more of such threads around since many of us are buying resale and know what we want to do, so we dun really need an ID.

What we need is just a reliable contractor with a bit of design knowledge....

So one of the commonly mentioned ones in this forum is ho bee???

Join 46,923 satisfied homeowners who used renotalk quotation service to find interior designers. Get an estimated quotation

Actually everybody should read up waileong's blog.

Very interesting articule regarding about IDs and Contractors.

As this is my 2nd time reno, I only go for contractors and in fact some contractors do have good 3drawing too! And are cheaper compare to ID.

My first time reno, dating back more than 11 yrs ago, cost my a big big hole in the pocket....very hard to recovered back (I mean saving).

Now, go for min. reno, save up abit and buy from the shop. You can actually save alot!

Well done waileong's blog!!!!

hi km-foo, i can recommend my contractor to you if you are keen. i used his service for my house 8 years ago and will be using him again for my new house.

initially i wanted to try out ho bee since he is so highly recommended in this forum. they gave me a quote and after comparing, my first contractor's quote is still cheaper so i stayed with him.

he is very reliable and honest, just like patrick. the only thing is i have to keep chasing him for quotation (i think he is very busy). his carpentry work are also of very good quality, all my carpentry work in the old house is still going strong except for scratches and stickers all over (done by my kids).

pm me if you want his contact number.

Hi can pm me his contact? thanks

Hi BLUE....difficult to tell you who is reliable c/w gd wrkmanship. It really depends on individual. Go for more quotes and see their worksmanship and materials they use. Judge yourself. Other pple judgement might defer from yours. Hope you will understand.

Good Luck!

HAPPY
