How about Christmas day?Hi EverybodyNeed to check with you. What is your width of your new kitchen cabinet? Is it all standard width? My present cabinet is 19 inch.Your comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everybody!!!HAPPYThink it depends on the top and bottom too.. where it extends to etc..Mine is 20.5" top and bottom, short coz only one side and it extends above the fridge etc. Btw it's 100 pages in this thread already! lynnnie 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2007 To all Blk 26B,I'll be getting my keys on 3 Jan 08. So happy!! Finally it's my turn. Thou it's not early, it is still a good news for New Year. skyspectrum 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2007 Did alot of damage at courts tampines today.Bought a new tv, fridge and Washing machine. The TV we bought is a promotional set (only 10 sets) Usual the price is $4499 but today they are selling only at $2699. We think is a bargain therefore bought it, Samsung LA40M81BX..heehee.However no free gifts attached due to too cheap as per the salesman. The Washing machine is Tecno TWA 880s. Hmm..seems a reasonable deal which includes a $70 ntuc courts voucher + a 30L Electric oven..This model is make in Korea. We heard is a pretty good power saving washer .Quite quiet too for a Auto washerAs for the Fridge, We decided to choose Fisher and Payel as this is quite a established brand in fridge industry. It flexibility in changing the position of tempered glass shelves makes us decided this is the one that we need. However as according to the salesman, there could be a change of production plant. Usually, they are manufactured in New Zealand but the salesman is saying that they are moving to Thailand due to cheap labour cost. Hope our fridge is a Kiwis. hahaWow, you are daring to buy things from Courts. For us, Courts and others are cases of showroom.Afterwhich, we went to neighbourhood shops to get them. Uusually cheaper. If the agents are able to offer Courts/Best Denki/Harvey good offers, they would extend the offers to the shops as well. We did not opt for Korea and NZ products as it would be difficult to service IF in event something happen. And usually their customer services are not as extensive and accessible than other established Japanese brands, e.g. Mitsubishi, Daikin, Hitachi, etc. Price is one factor to consider, but do consider long term factors. Just 2 cents of considerations from another Estate. Cheers.

skyspectrum 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2007 Hi Dorcas,Wow congratz to you. Finally, we see some 'light' to collection of keys!I can sense how eager guys want to collect keys and start renovation soonest. Its part and parcel of a couple life together. Jalan together, scout together, bargain together (some dont), grumble and sometime quarrel, shake hand and compromise on items to buy. Renovation is one big part of the game, to ensure work done is worth the $ you paid. And constant monitoring is crucial to ensure deliverables are to expectations. Good planning is a must for requesting of delivery of other ordered items, e.g. electricals, furniture, and etc.Usually one party (husband or wife) will take charge while the other party do the planning of wedding, if these two events are close to each other. For my case, I did both. No complains but a great sense of satisfaction at the end of the day. Job well done! Thumbs up!My 4 rm is 90sqm at Tanglin Halt. Friends who came to visit us said our 4 rm are quite spacious. Not too sure how the 4rm at Membina looks like. Went to the Toa Payoh blog and some of them said 4rm is as small as 75sqm. Imagining in a studio appt. Okie, PM if you need any further advice or discussions. Cheers & Merry Xmas!!!
