So not a solid door at all.Hi REDHow much did you contractor quote you for the window grill?Hey, I notice the top window panel did not have window grill? Any reason?HAPPYi recall the quote is $5.60 psf... total area is abt 150 sq ft, so total price is about $840.ya, the top hung window part is not covered... cos the grille is mainly for safety reason, so just covering the middle part is sufficient... the top hung part is too small for people to climb out of... also it is cheaper this way, cos the total cost of window grille is calculated on a per sq ft (psf) basis... Basically i got the same experience. I walked into their showflat one guy was busy talking to a middle aged couple. then when he was done, he just told me and my hubby he needed to lock up and go. i thot he'd at least ask me if i'm looking for reno contractors which i was. I was so pissed i told him in the face, "Hey you think i cannot afford a flat here is it?" then he said i was very rude and petty.. i was like ???sometimes we get this kind of treatment just cuz we are in our mid 20s.. well, li sheng did not bother abt out age and when we told him we wanted simple and balinese, he respected and said if we want this kid of design , we shd take out l-box and all that frills. instead we can just go for basic and practical design and get those lights and furniture to create the mood ... and he has nothing to gain from it!! That won our respect.
h4happy 1 Report post Posted December 11, 2007 I have shortlisted Li Sheng too.Went to his office, show me the cctv, but the boss verbally quote us the price.Worksmanship is good as I went to see tanglin halt showflats with one of his shanghai i/d.Actually I wanted to have a print out quotation but not thru his mouth and he asked us to write down the amount. As I source a number of quotations, I have hard time comparing other quotations with Li Sheng (I hand written the amount. Haha i just read abt your experience with tong hong.
