linggie 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 i was quite lucky...they didnt bother me haha i was walking around alone... i bumped into my friend who is working for Gim Wee Contractor, he bought me to the units he is doing..it was rather confusing so i cant recall exactly which units i wentvaguely block27B and 25A- 14th storey, 21 storey... i bought my tempur mattress at the tempur fair on Sat...yeah my 1st "furnture" for my flat !! i went top the home and decor fair also, was playing with the blum drawers also! haha cool...the servo flow operated...but rather silly, waste electricity and in case of power failure, handless-drawer cant be open !! jj2 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 hi NeighboursYday went down to Balestier Road.... visited some shops for flooring tiles..... some shop assistants are friendly some are not..... and we gets alot of sample back from the shops..... nemofc 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2007 (edited) No 4th floor....8th floor is scopy house.The 4th floor is very simple and bright.No features....I found out something...you know the Lbox?Normally install those square lights right?The 4th floor also has this but no mounted on the L Box but ceiling itself.Well done.I like the kitchen cabinet alot.Today afternoon, went to see the blk 26B and 26A.As expected, one uncle actually follow us behind...and when we tok the lift up to 10th floor...no showflat...just see the door facing door....out of sudden, that uncle came up and went down the stair case...I thought the uncle is the officer.....When went down, saw the uncle standing there!There is also 2 guys (young chap) asking want to renovate hosue?Also 1 guy stand there as if he is a policeman!Why cant they leave the pple alone???And saw 3 uncle sat one corner and looking at pple walk pass by....Sorry, no offence, those uncles seem like they are at the red light district area...pple walk, they follow...they see you..eye never leave you...worst, one guy (about 40) stand at blk 26A as if a pimp!I am not going there anymore....unless accompany by my group of friends!!o ya, thanks, i tot is 8th floor. heeeo yes, i get what you mean Lbox... did you ask how much esti renov cost?guess, they shoudn't. don't bother too much about them, just ignored. so far, we didn't get it from them. havn't been visiting the area for wks. I couldn't find my way up and when I wanted to take the lift. There's someone (worker) inside the lift and block us from taking it. Also noticed there are barricades to all the levels. sigh...But i am glad that the painting are done for block 26B. One comment for Weik** workmanship is on the floor tiles. Some of them are uneven between tiles, and came up a bit for one side. ("thi jiao"), and you can feel it with your feet!!. The guy Desm**d said that is due to imperfectness if they force all the side to be level, than they have to sacrifice 4-sides instead of the current 1-side only. We almost engage Weik** for our house too due to special promo package they have (well, if you mentioned you are from SERS instead of balloting, they will throw you a special package with Air-con!, no air-con for balloting ppl), but due to poor workmanship on tiles, which could be permanent, I think I will give it a pass.Now we are considering Impress21 and another furniture contractor who also quote us pretty cheap (even cheaper than impress21 and good workmanship on tiles and furniture). Only problem with this contractor is their attitude in helping us co-ordinate for air-con installation, cement screeding, and other installation which they do not do. (We don't mind paying extra for their co-ordination, just their reluctance and the way they communicate as if no one can give lower price than them. True in terms of price, but not service).ps: at S$70 pfr for kitchen cabinets and wardrobe (with plywood and ABS trimming) for the above contractor, I doubt no other IDs/Cons are able to match their price, due to the fact that they have their own factory.
