No lor....we have been waiting for donkey years already...not even received letter on key collection. From what I found out from HDB on Mon is that the keys are with HDB already, but no allocation of dates yet.

I suppose we will only be collecting the keys in Jan laioz.

i heard from my neighbour the LD imposed by HDB on the contractor is $500/day/unit.

Yes, by HDB.

However one way of thinking is they will speed up the works and do them less diligently, as defects reported by owners may be more ok (to the contractor) .. hope they won't be so sloppy.

Finally we are getting the keys to our units! All the windows have been closed since early december, HDB are pretty slow in giving out our keys. Time to select ID.

Dont think we can be ready by CNY08 though.

Thank you all! Yes, I'm pretty excited to start our reno soon. My fortune master has chosen a date to open my house after we got our keys which will be on 5 Jan (sat). Subsequently we shall see the auspicious date to hack the wall, etc. Of cos also got to match with HDB to follow up on their cement screeding.

In fact, I've already selected my ID and done up with the designing. Now only left with the selection of electronic products, santiary appliances, lights and mattress. Seems like the Sealy Hotel Supreme not bad. Any comments? I've also selected my furniture. hee hee..already some 50% of our homework.

I do have the designing photos on my multiply blog. Not too sure whether I should open up here.

As for how I get to know the news of my keys collection, I saw it on my HDB website during lunchtime yesterday. My OIC is Jaime. I am still waiting for the letter.

Hope those in Blk 26B can get it soon too. Cos I know the waiting is torturing us!

was going to go down to our flat today to take photo as the lights are more or less fixed up, but it's so rainy and cold outside.

just wondering, where are you guys moving from (i.e. which part of sg are you currently staying in?)

yesterday the delivery guy for my chandeliers told me quite a few people came to ask the shop aunty for the lights after we bought them... phew..
