redbottle 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2007 (edited) is daikin aircon good? system 4daikin inverter aircons are still using the old R22 refrigerant, which is an ozone-depleting substance...most other brands of inverter e.g. mit elec and toshiba are already using the newer R410A refrigerant, which is harmless to ozone...as for price and performance, mit elec and toshiba are comparable to daikin... in fact, i think toshiba is the cheapest around... gadgetgal 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2007 (edited) Just had aircon man to come in for site view and had his advise. After all his advise..we were like in the mix of laugh and cry... (laugh because we think we can enjoy the coolness of the place when the weather is hot, but cry due to the ugliness of the trunking...)Well, we have 5 aircon living, study room + 3bedroom, and the trunking from each of this room was like... It really will turn your house and design very ugly. The most trunking will somehow appear in my MBR,... trunking for all the previous 4 aircon will meet at MBR, and need to split those 4 aircon pipe into two trunking, which will flow up and bottomreally not sure how trunking are done for some of your, 5-room flat owner.Headache.. headache.... gadgetgal 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2007 Hi All,Can I check with your if your did a kerb at the main entrance? (a kerb between the wood door and the iron gate).I am not sure if the kerb is necessary or not.. or it will help to block the water (with additional plastic/arcylic board installation) if HDB spray and clean the common area with water.Anyone has overcome that design headache?. xlan 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2007 same here.. ours no kerb at entrance too.. cos scared tripping over it.. could b a possible danger to the elderly.. that is wat i thought.. but my ID told me is for some FS issues.. but also at the same time does help a little in blocking the "sand"/dust n 洗地水..
