renting in yishun, it's 3+1 rooms, :yamseng: rental increase these days really off the scale.

thanks for the info, but i can't wait for hdb screeding, it will take at least 3 weeks.

based past release schedule, 26B earliest release will probably be dec 1st week.

need enough time to do very basic renovation.

Hi Owens,

You can refer to my renovator, Henry from Impress21. I can tell you he is superfast, and deliver on schedule!. Well, I asked him to do marking for the cement screeding (so as HDB will be able to follow), he mentioned monday morning (today), and he informed me once he has done it too!.

Pretty fair in price.

yups elaine...mine is 5 room...

gadgetgal--i added the link to my nian nian you yu protrait (hmm i wont call it a protrait because it is 3d) haha the goldfishes are carved out of stones, mounted on ceramic tiles and mounted on a wood piece.. i dont think both of us can commit to any pet, we shall be contented with the occasional diving trips.

Sure can open house for neighbours!. we can arrange that before the furniture is loaded and after the furniture is loaded.

But must help to point out if you guys notice any defects.

ps: now only waiting HDB to cement screed, after cement screed then only he will start full force.

His payment is pretty standard to the market rate, 10-40-40-10.

Well, since we gonna live there for a pretty long time, maybe should have build our neighbourhood watch as well, keep a lookout for each other.

Hi Vince,

thanks! haha but my contractor is quite insistent that i use 600X600 for homo tiles because of the potential worry of uneven-ness..he said my house is granite hence the thickness and the weight of the tiles can hold it down...

he also recommend me to use parquet instead of laminates..

(he is the contractor who did my current house and he is a family friend, have yet to see the final quote) but he told me it would be 15-17k depend on my final requirement.

just to share my granite flooring if any neighbour are interested! :yeah:

hi linggie,

I am interested in ur granite flooring as well as ur contractor's contact. :thumbs up: my email add:jazznpop80@yahoo.com. By the way, wat the name for this grantie tile call?

Looks like you have finish the flooring for your unit. Can we go and take a look?heehee coz not much people dare to use such a color. Most ppl use cream or white or off white color, tat is consider safe color for the flooring. Want to have a feel of it. !!

Can i check since u using black color, will the space turn to look very small?? Do u have trouble looking for furniture coz of the color of u flooring?? My hubby interested in having black color flooring, but i feel it will make the room very gloomy and small (coz ours is 4 rm). Not sure if u got tis problem.

Sorry for asking soo much qns.

haha sorry if i mislead anyone...this is the flooring of my parent's house, it was done 8 yrs ago by this contractor so i m getting him to do my new flat (which is not painted yet--block 25B)

my family cant recall the name of the granite...maybe you can check with my contractor.

i personally feel my house look alright but that could be because old 5room is 137 sqm...hence it dont look small...but i think for 4rooms, it might require alot cutting and hence alot wastages as the original granite come in big pieces 800 x 800

and it is a nightmare when you dropped things on the floor, you can never find it...especially black hairclip/ rubber bands...etc....cockroaches even loh...

sure, you can pop by my house hehe but it is in jurong west (old)

i will email you his contacts yah...

cheers

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the size of the service window so that I won't buy a compressor which will be too big to pass thru? Thanks.

Is it 3.6 (42inc) ft by 2.6ft (30 inc)??

Base on the floor plan.
