nemofc 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 (edited) Yah, saw them cleaning.. We went up to 26C to see see look look I guess for ID is mainly for those without any ideas or just only rough ideas or want many designs, but if u know what design u want or simple renovation only, can just go to contractors.. We compared our quote with 2 contractors and 1 ID, the difference in cost is around $2k to 5k.. Although our ID is a very nice guy, can really click with him, and tried his best in giving us a good deal, still after comparing and seeing the difference in $$$, we did felt abitbit *regret* committing so fast.. We just hope, by paying a premium, our renovation will not encounter any major problems.. Otherwise, u can see us binzz, can share your contractors' quotation? any good one to recommend?possible to email me direct as my mailbox is full here... We will fee sian if everyday see the design. Then we decided to zoom in to contractors and those not so famous id...and their quote drop by about $5k+++! If you talke away all the unnecessary carpentary works, you really can save alot. Then by using the extra money, can buy expensive items like sofa, bed or kitchen accessories. And play around with the sofa and tv console. It will also make your house nice, simple and cozy. VinceDelfino 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 (edited) Oh my gosh ! My whole flat will be using laminated flooring and my hubby feels that pebblewash at the foyer will spolit his design. I must tell him to re-consider again. Is anyone installing whirlpool or bathtub ? What is the expected cost to tile it into the bathroom ? I am still waiting for my quotation.i'm going to install a bathtub in the master bedroom toilet. for a basic bathtub without jets (not jacuzzi), it'll cost about $350 (+/-), depending on the size (width & length). think the shortest length is 1200mm. if you're getting those with jets, it'll cost around $1k-$2k+. i may get a basic one from nam wah as they make bathtubs. Jasch, i think u mean elaine... Binzz... mind if you upload it somewhere? you can remove those personal info like flat unit-number etc.Thanks.. I think it's more efficient that way rather than PM-ing here and there, causing mailbox to be full.Anyway, it is about information sharing and looking for the cheapest, good and value for money deals!.thanxxx.....ps: anyone else think otherwise?. All, just feel that for the quote, as long as you remove some other things personal, and left only the price it should be fine quar.
