Where Do You Guys Get Your Ideas From?

I'm a newbie and I'm just wondering where do you guys get your ideas from?

Like mainly do you get your ideas from websites, magazines, forums, or what else?

well you can get ur ideas from the expo exhibitions.

There will be one coming this end of the month. Below are the details.

me and hubby discussed on what kind of theme we would like.. e.g modernistic, resort feel, minimalistic..

den we agreed upon cosy, resort kind of design theme..

after that we just look out for ideas from magazines, net, furniture malls, etc

initially we had alot of ideas for house.. after that, we can only made a few come to life cos we r limited by low budget

Like Devilas said, the exhibitions are a good place to start with.

And once you had chosen a theme/s you like, you can visit actual places of such theme/s to get the real ideas.

Eg if you felt that you like Balinese, I would suggest that you visit some Indonesian resturants, bars/pubs, etc - maybe can even go Bali itself?? You like modern, maybe can go to hotels, boutiques, etc.

Like for wifey and me, we club quite abit, so we always visit chic clubbing places like Zouk, MOS, Butter Factory and those outlets at Clarke Quay to get ideas.
