Hdb 1st Appt - How Does It Goes?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am meeting HDB for my 1st Appt on 20 June. I have received the Brochures and the instructions and I am told that my appt is 11.45am.

Just wondering what takes place during the 1st interview. How long does it usually take? Will I be informed whether I am eligible for the HDB loan then as well? (I had submitted my HLE application yesterday, will be sending the documents tomorrow)

Is the $2,000 refundable if I did not successfully manage to select a flat?

THanks! :dancingqueen:

Dear raincole,

Wondering, besides signing documents, it the 10% being paid at 1 st appointment? How much is cash, and how much is cpf for this 10 percent? If we take 80% bank loan, is it 5% cash, 15% can be paid by CPF. Do we bring the cheque or does the lawyer handle this?

Is the COV not paid at the second appointment?

If you have a lawyer, I assume u are taking bank loan. U can ask ur lawyer on the process. But chq needs to be coming from u for the cash portion (5% yup).

10% is being paid on the 2nd appointment. all ur CPF will be wiped out and only if u dont have enough CPF then u need to pay cash.
