Hi, I am a newbie to this forum. I am thinking of signing the contract with The Designer Guys. Have done a search but don't seem to find this ID firm being mentioned. Anyone has used this firm before? Please share your comments. Thanks!

Saw Designer Guy in sgbrides recommended list of ID firm.

Anyone have any comments on them ? pricing gd? workmanship gd? followup gd?

ive jus gotten a quote fr them too. 18k+ fpr 3rrom flat.. is it expensive?? moreover they guaranteed 99% for bank loan approval for all their customers... hmm..

The firm is still at Upper Serangoon. I just went there last weekend. The showroom is under renovation.

in fact their designer wan to make his showroom floor whiter than paper, and wan every customer to remove footwear before walkin in.. and they recently purchase 11 very expensive chairs.. went there to get quotation but not happy with their quote.. and no click with them.. :<

Sure they can afford the 11 expensive chairs, and frequent renovation, else how to attract expensive customer. You should know what I mean..Lol

18K for 3 rm flat seems reasonable price but are you comparing durian with cherry? Many contractor and ID firm can guarantee bank loan too but to what amount that's all

I was contacted by Vin from DG. I had 3 quotes from him and it went as high as 35K to 25K. In fact, hubby and I had shortlisted them with another contractor of mine as both give competitive package to me.

Their director, Andrew Loh even brought us to see his client's unit. I would say their workmanship is good if it's just the only unit we saw. Cant comment much cos din see many units.

We din chose them as we find the other contractor seems more like a one-stop service company to us as they got their own team of tilers, electricians, plumbers etc. Me & hubby lazy to source around comparing for cheaper items and we were told that DG dont have their own team of electricians thus we rejected them.

hi sk you also got contact by vin, they didn't impress me, first this vin tell me they had my quote ready, next i spend 4hrs stuck there, and then they quote me but took 4hrs long, the only thing that impress me is their designer johnson really know how to spend huge sum.. make me think, hey will it come from my reno with high profit to do such a fanciful reno for their showroom.. and yup they don have contractors themselve, its thru third party, so hard to get things done lo.. so end up with their super high quote, and first impression down, we drop them immediately.. and also found our best another company
