TYM 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2007 Diamond water is one of the more popular brand, but ex. Osim also have those small water filter attached to the tap. A lot of MLM company also carry such products.Singapore water is already above WHO standards, not sure if it is necessary though Diamond Water claimed on its website the benefits of its award-winning filter system. HSH21 1 Report post Posted May 25, 2007 The purchase is not an issue... the main cost come when U need to change the filter... heard that Diamand has a few filter need to be change regularly... and if U don't change the filter... it is more harmful than without it... yoongf 11 Report post Posted May 25, 2007 A simple way is to connect the filtered water to the kitchen mixer hot water pipe.Seldom do ppl use hot water at the kitchen basin, but the mixer usually got hot water mixer. So.. cold water into the filter, filtered water outlet connect to the mixer hot water inlet. so.. when want to drink.. simply shift the kitchen mixer to hot water side.. and u get filtered water from the tap. sakae sushi 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2007 i'm looking at those that can be mounted onto the pipe below the sink leh. the water stil come out from the mixer instead of another outlet. this means that the water u use for washing dishes be purified too
Chunky Monkey 2 Report post Posted May 25, 2007 Food for thought ... What is the point of having a water filter installed to your kitchen tap, if it is the SAME outlet that filtered water and unfiltered water comes out from.Secondly, although DIAMOND is the most preferred brand, I was told that even fluoride and the added minerals good for you are also filtered out?
