Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Diamond water is one of the more popular brand, but ex. Osim also have those small water filter attached to the tap. A lot of MLM company also carry such products.

Singapore water is already above WHO standards, not sure if it is necessary though Diamond Water claimed on its website the benefits of its award-winning filter system.

The purchase is not an issue... the main cost come when U need to change the filter... heard that Diamand has a few filter need to be change regularly... and if U don't change the filter... it is more harmful than without it...

Hi enci,

whr does the source come from?

My parents bought Elken water dispenser similar to diamond water, thru his fren. But he doesn't know where the source come from. Can dispense both hot & cold water.

We are in the midst of our reno, left the kitchen cabinet. So we are unsure whr to place the dispenser. :):)

A simple way is to connect the filtered water to the kitchen mixer hot water pipe.

Seldom do ppl use hot water at the kitchen basin, but the mixer usually got hot water mixer. So.. cold water into the filter, filtered water outlet connect to the mixer hot water inlet.

so.. when want to drink.. simply shift the kitchen mixer to hot water side.. and u get filtered water from the tap.

im also using a filter system....after using it for a year, can really taste the difference if u accidentally drink tap water. its also oxygenated.

some of the filters sold produce water that are acidic...i wont say names but u can test for urself with one of those chemical or paper testers.

im happy with mine...dont want to say name lah later people say i market the product. and no im not selling them.

Why not ask this fren? Shouldn't he/she provide some advice or after-sales service?

i'm looking at those that can be mounted onto the pipe below the sink leh. the water stil come out from the mixer instead of another outlet. this means that the water u use for washing dishes be purified too :notti:

Food for thought ... What is the point of having a water filter installed to your kitchen tap, if it is the SAME outlet that filtered water and unfiltered water comes out from.

Secondly, although DIAMOND is the most preferred brand, I was told that even fluoride and the added minerals good for you are also filtered out?

i dunno whats the point man :) ... maybe you can write in to OSIM and ask them whats the point, cos they also sell purifer that is attached to the tap

basically its to filter the water be it for washing plates or drinking.... :notti:
