Crystal/glass "string Curtains" - Where To Buy?

Recommended Posts

^^ Now that you mentioned it, Karbell's service can be rather horrendous. The first time I went in, the ladies were the least interested or eager to serve me. But after I let my guard now and chatted with them, they warmed up. I wondered who had to please whom!

I actually never saw the House of Fabric open, during the times I was there.

You know, don't mind these people. Their prices are cheaper than what you have to pay outside. These places are not places you expect customer service. It's for people who know exactly what they want, order and get out of there. No strings attached.

I have a suggestion for you >> go back to the bar/pub that you took that picture. Or call them to ask to speak with the manager, and ask for the contact. This was what I did when I saw some children's furniture at United Square's Globetrotter's family restaurant, and that was how I got the little sofa settees for my children's room.

Hey I see that you check the forum as the last thing before you sleep, and the first thing once you wake up! Haha...same as me...sometimes its really an addiction...

Ya, this is exactly what I am going to do tonight - in fact, if I am desperate enough, I even contemplate breaking into the bar and take a few strands of the crystals!

Just now drove over to Fashion Bar and snapped a few pics. Upon closer look during daytime when I am not drunk, found that they are really common acrylic pieces strung together with small steel rings.

(Ya ya...this first pic actually shows silhouettes of me holding the handphone with two hands. Mrs zirhk is standing there wiping her sweat and complaining...as usual.)

Also checked the top and found that they are held together with our usual curtain's tracks, with the rings being attached to the hooks.

This really seemed very common to me, like we can find this everywhere on custumes jewelleries and accessories. Does anyone know anyone who can do this for me??

Ya lor, that's exactly what I thought! But even if in daylight and you stand a distance away (maybe 1m to 2m), the effect is still there.

Anyway, I planning to have "track lights" (is that what they call it??) on top to shine on it, maybe able 3 to 5 halogens. Have to discuss with my ID on this...

Checked out the AMK shops as recommended by gdo07, but unforunately also do not have what I want. Those are the same beads' curtains that krisietong posted from Yahoo Auctions.

However, krisietong, you should check out the shops, they might have what you want. There are a few of them, mainly selling fabrics curtains. The key point is, they are cheaper than Chezwam's auction!
