Newly Wed Couple Using 2 Super Single Mattress

Hi anyone can help out in this pls?

My hubby and I are currently sourcing for bedframes and mattress.

Would like to check with if it is alright for a married couple to sleep on 2 Super Single Mattress but its placed in SAME King Sized Bedframe.

Our bedsheets that we are going to use are also King Sized Bedsheets, the 2 super single sized mattress will be placed on the same king sized bedframe.

if eg. we buy 2 super single , place it in the same bedframe.. but the 2 mattress is using SEPARATE bed sheets.

ie. 2 super single bedsheets...

is this arrangement ok? (coz realised.. king sized bedsheets will be too small for 2 combined super single beds..)

aiya...this one nothing to do with fengshui....so long as both of you sleeping on the same bed.

it's just ONE SINGLE KINGsized BED with 2 mattress(internal). So still considered 1 bed.

Errr.... why should a king size bedsheet be too small for 2 super single mattresses when 2 super single mattresses can fit into a king size bed frame?

2 super single cant fit into a king sized frame because its bigger

1 king size = 2 single mattress

eg. for simmons the measurement is

Super Single Mattress: 107cm x 190cm

Single Mattress : 91 x 190 cm

King Size : 182 x 190 cm

so correspondingly, king size bedsheet doesnt fit 2 x super single. it fits 2 x single mattress only

Mace already explained that still under one 'bedframe' so its o.k. unless it's 2 different bed (2 super single bed frame put together) then it's not advisable as cause can seperation..

It's very common oversea where they put 2 bed mattress together as they couldn't find a 'single' size to fit as they cannot enter lift, door entrance, etc.

if 1 king size bedsheet is too small for 2 combined super single, then how can 1 king size bedframe fit the 2 super single mattresses ?? Are u going to custom-make the bedframe ?

I remember reading a FS site it says it must not be two beds joined together. It says something like sleeping on joint mattress is "pretending to be sleeping together but actually spilt", not good for married couples regardless of same bed frame or not (cos you lie on the mattress not the bedframe) if I can find the article, I will PM u.

I remember reading that too, some malaysian english fs websites....the same ones who said this Ding Hai Pig year is a GOLDEN PIG YEAR. wakakakka....could not even pass their Primary 3 chinese how to become real FSM?

Hi all, I personally experience this but am not sure if it is really due to seperate mattress since there is not evidented proof lah.

When I was married, every weekend I will go back to my mum house to stay over for a night or two. I slept on my bed which had 2 mattresses stacked on top of each other. 4 years later, I got a divorce from husband due to his infidelity.

My brother who also sleeps on 2 seperate mattress stacked on top of each other (my mother like to stack 2 so its higher lah) recently broke up with his girlfriend of 9 years.

For your reference lah. My mother now realises that it could be due to the mattresses and has since removed the un-necessary piece.

Wah Biang.. I have been sleeping with my wife for the past 10 years on 2 mattress ontop of each other, but i have 3 kids and still together..
