Removal Of Existing Aircon Trunking

Recommended Posts

Just wish to know what is the norm, to remove the existing aircon trunking?

Will the ID do it for you, or is the aircon supplier suppose to do it, and any charge if so?

Thanks!

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

whenever who you ask to remove the trunking there will sure to have charges required.

ID will ask their sub-con to help you out.

Owner will call and ask air-con supplier to do it.

Depends on how much is it. :)

My old aircon is giving me problems so I intend to change it but was held back by some problems...

Is it necessary to change the old trunking? My MBR trunking was partially concealed by my built in TV console so I dunno wat to do. I thinking of buying the starmex, panasonic or daikin inverter but old one is non-inverter.SOme sales person said muz change sure no problem to fix, some said no need to change new pipe cos will be so messy for me so I am really confused.

I am not worry abt e small abt my piping money but juz worried that they will not remove my old one n then I will hv 2 trunkings running in my flat...Can't imagine that...SOmemore no one willing to come n check lor....

Need to purchase b4 GST go up so appreciate if all can help...Tks a million

I was looking for a new a/c system for my new resale unit lately. I have some feeb back from different ppl

The a/c seller telling me that nowadays, new a/c set are all inverter model. If your exisiting a/c piping was done long time ago, you may need to dismantle it because it is not suitable for new a/c.

My agent said that he used Daikin inverter model gives him a lot of problem (e.g. not cold)

If the current piping is concealed, more dismantling work will be involved (u can imagine if the pipes concealed in the cornices and built in wardrobe). Therefore, having new piping may be another viable solution depends on how complicated is your exisiting a/c piping system.

Yes, everything the contractor instal or dismantle will be charged.

No reply??? Please help???

it depends on how hard to remove the trunking. example like : hidden, need to move furnitures before removing turnkning here and there. More shifting will cause more cost...

as what Maeryn say get quote directly from them.

if you want air-con supplier u can pm me if you want. :P
