lifestyle 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2007 Hey everyone ,Finally got our reno started after many setback and we are so excited and can’t wait the final handover. Thanks for everyone with your advice in the past (e.g GnM, Devilaz, Cokelight, HSH21, Odielim, henpu, diva79, and all those i forgot to mentioned…).Here are some of the original photo before the reno. It’s an old (22yr) original 5 room place so everything in this 130sqm need to be replaced. So will cost a bit more than some of your new flats. Just submitted to HDB the request for approval for the hacking. Now in designing stage. Will be using the best materials so that it will last a long long time and design will be Modern/Contemporary. Leave everything to be handled by my competent & excellent designer Irene from Edgeline Planner Please do feel to comments and give feedbacks on anything. Hope ths will be useful for all those newbies in renotalk that are about to start or currently in the process of renovation. Waiting for Odie & the rest... Cheers Here are the orig pics. The Floor plan...The Living Room... (nice & big)Entrance & Dining areaMore pics:The Kitchen... (so run down)Common Bathroom.. Hi Lifestyle, waiting to see ur modern concept. Mine is Mitsubishi heavy industry (Invertor), not sure abt the model so far performance is good. Whereas whether save electricity nt sure cos nothing to compare. !! But do take note of their materials given by ur air con contractore such as hw many inch of pipes, the brand of the insulator etc. cos if the installation is nt good it may leak in future.
