actually our kitchen tiles are beige in colour

think most colours will go bah...

depends on what kind of kitchen you want

functional, bright and cheery or modernistic look

for me, i'm going for dark countertop with dark wood laminate cabinets !!

Are you going to do anything to the walls? Your floor looks ok! :) Try doing a mood board meaning getting some material samples and put them side by side. If I am you, I will go for dark wood cabinet body and beige doors (colour close your floor). Try to stick to 2 colours for a space.

Mood board is a very a good tool for all designer...that is where you can compare all forms of material by colours, textures, cost and other personal remarks.

hahaha, i basically changed the direction of the door opening

from opening into the bedroom to opening out onto the passageway

so got to remove the frame and replace with new one

but my constraint is i have existing wardrobe, two big ones at that zz
