Mine was right after painting, It should be before carpentry, the carpenters would need a good light source also if they work late. some of them will be after if the lights are incorporated into your furniture.

just want to check, when do u guys put up the lightings? after or before capentry done? :)

Lightings will be done in some area which is required for capentry. Prevent to do all as if capenter knock down the lightings will fell heart pain. Knowing that capenter will pay back but will the quality of the ligthings is there?

Some will give execuse and wont pay it.

:D

Workers will bring their own lights if need be. What is important is for the wiring to be planned properly so you don't have to undo anything, esp. if your intention is to hide the wires and trunking.

If you have an ID or general contractor, they will do all this worrying for you, that's why you pay them $$$.

I will get them to buy back the same lamp to replace (plus any other installation charges), no excuses at all on their part to damage my lamp whether unintentionally or not.

Usually downlights are installed after the painting works. Leave those expensive lightings and hanging lights until after carpentry is up.
