It should be related to your neighbour upstairs, unless your own piping above the false ceiling is leaking. I believe you will need to take down the false ceiling to understand the source of problem. ivanotas 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2007 Maybe your upstair neighbour install indoor swimming poolcheck the upstair neghbour.the pipes are not leaking. got a contractor up and he told me due to the moisture in the toilet. therefore the flase ceiling is absorbing these moist through times it gathers and drip.. yoongf 11 Report post Posted June 4, 2007 (edited) if is a leak, then u will see a particular spot very bad.. and got rings ard it. sometimes.. pimple like structure will form.If it's black spots.. or water droplets over entire board area.. then.. is related to bathroom moisture problem. But moisture usually related to design problem... like wrong material or toilet no window.Err.. anyway.. how u check upstairs neighbour, u mean u hack up the floor to see if the waste pipe was leaking?
