tingshen 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 the aircon fancoil supposed to be installed in point A (24KBtu/h unit). But after meeting fengshui master, he advised us to shift it towards the dining area.If I were to use Point B, would 24KBtu/h become not efficient? Would using a 28KBtu/h model help in cooling the whole place if I were to install in point B?
Chunky Monkey 2 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 I'm not an expert in aircons but I have installed huge aircon units in my homes before. How about installing a ceiling cassette that can blow in all four directions?
tingshen 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 ceiling cassette? you meant like those big shopping center using type?we do not have any false ceiling, i dunno if this can work.if 28KBtu/h (although a bit overkill for HDB) can solve the problem, I may consider using such a huge unit.....about $0.30 extra per hour compared to 24KBtu/h unit.... waterdischarge 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 I do not think HDB can install ceiling cassette. Anyway, you can trying emailing this guy from http://singapore-aircon.blogspot.com He seems to be quite knowledgable in aircon.
