Madtsh 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2018 Hi guys, I'm presently looking to buy an old HDB unit , which has a separated toilet and bathroom. The toilet and the bathroom are separated by a thin wall.I was thinking of hacking down the wall to make a bigger combined bathroom, but there are some pipes that are in the way. We are looking at 1-2 big straight pipes linking the top of the toilet to floor. There are maybe another 1-2 smaller pipes that protrude from the side of the big pipes (about halfway down the big pipe) that are linked to the floor as well. I was wondering if anyone has experience with something similar, and/or what can be done to those pipes. Can they be removed?I also noticed that the ceilings of the toilet and the shower are at different heights. Would this be also be an issue during the renovation?
