Modify current kitchen cabinets without dismantling

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am so lack of knowledge in this area. Anyone knows if it is possible to change the configuration of current kitchen cabinets without dismantling it ?

For example, I have 2 drawers Medium size I want to remove them and also remove 1 skinny cabinet door which is next to the drawers. Then remove the divider between the drawers and skinny compartment and then replace the whole compartment with wider drawers.

So basically I want to re-divide the inner space without dismantling. Possible?

Nothing is impossible. It can be done but the work is going to be very complex. Changing a medium size to wider drawers  cannot be modify. You need to make a new drawers as per your requirement which I think would be quite costly due to high labours cost in Singapore.

I've been thinking about renovating my kitchen for a long time. The kitchen furniture was left over from the previous owner of the apartment and must be said to be very outdated. I'd like to find something new, including looking for an inexpensive but durable material for the tabletop and countertop.

What do you think about artificial stone? For some reason, many people are skeptical about acrylic stone, although in fact it is a more than strong, wear-resistant and durable material that is excellent for a work surface. I liked options Corian Kitchen Worktops in Total tops, so I advise you to pay attention to this option.

Yes, it is possible to modify your current kitchen cabinets without dismantling them. You can remove the drawers and the skinny cabinet door, along with the divider, and replace them with wider drawers. This process requires precise carpentry work but is doable. I recommend consulting with a skilled carpenter who can assess your cabinets and provide a custom solution.
