lawry 3 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 A matter of preference, take the one that goes well with the theme and design of your toilet. Ceramic basin comes in an assortment of shapes and sizes for you to choose from, while glass basins are limited to salad bowl of different colors. Another important thing to take note, Salad bowl basin would have to be mounted on a table top/vanity cabinet or some mounting metal bracket stuck on the wall (but unstable). It cannot be wall mounted by itself. Whereas, ceramic ones has been around for long, there are many varieties for you to choose, can wall mount them, under mount, table mount or partial mount.
