Hollow Homogenous Tiles

Recommended Posts

I went to knock some of the homo tiles that have been laid by my contractor, and some of the homo tiles are hollow (can hear the difference in sound). I suspect that they did not put enough cement/sand..

Went to ask my contractor, and he replied that homogenous tiles need to be 1/4 hollow!

Is this true??

haha then u tell him can i pay u 3/4 only as i will only pay you full if no hollow!:D

Hollowness is caused by lousy workmanship.... there is no tolerance for that in construction practice!
