My contractor managed to conceal all the electrical wires and water pipes in my resale flat. I think HDB is not too fussy about that since all newer flats have concealed wiring and piping too. What is the thickness of the kompacplus for the window ledge? It certainly looks better but do you intend to use it as a table? Mine more law abiding, can only box up to conceal. The thickness of the kompacplus is 6mm. It adds an edge to the window frame and makes it classier.
