Rubbish Chute replacement / solution

Im thinking of replacing the rubbish chute door to a better one? 

Any one has any recommendations? Most i seem are just a simple door. 

Not sure if anyone has done it before but im thinking of covering it totally and bringing the rubbish downstair every night

Where are you going to dump your trash downstairs? in the regular bin?

You might want to check with HDB Branch office on whether can you seal off the rubbish chute.
