jxisdead 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2018 (edited) Can my interior designer (he is working alone, home based?) sue me for not paying up full amount? only paid around 50-60% of total amount. work not done within 30 days as promised. (going 3 months in a week) tiles wanted from korea, end up found out tiles are from china. cupboard not properly done, even after his carpentry people came up a lot of times a lot of things he ownself measured wrongly and blame others. a lot of defects etc etc.... sorry for bad english. hope to get some reply...... Why not? For breach of contract whether terms are written or verbal expressed. This is business contract, not 'gift of love'. He needs thinks before acts. - Legal actions take $$$, time and evidence... - He wants win-win?, win-lose?
