Is my instant water heater wire secured?

Recommended Posts

I am using Panasonic DH-3DL2S Instant Water Heater. After the installer left, I notice there is one metal piece that I think the installer forget to push downwards to secure the wire end, one side of the metal piece is clamping the wire end and the other side facing upwards, see red arrow pointing to metal piece, photo

May I know should I push the metal piece towards the wire to clamp the wire, or leave it alone suppose to be like that? Thanks a lot.

The crimping of the earth wire isn’t done properly. But it should still be secure since the wire still seems to be crimped enough on the other side. As the wire is unlikely to be tugged from outside you can just leave it alone
